The Vegas Grand Prix is one of the largest events to ever come to downtown Las Vegas providing a 3-day festival of speed and entertainment being held April 6-8, 2007 (Easter Weekend).  The 2.44 mile, 12-turn race track will literally encircle the heart of downtown Las Vegas making the Freemont Experience the core of this exciting venue.  Champ Cars generate nearly 750-horsepower and will reach speeds of 180-miles per hour on the Vegas street course.

In addition to the open-wheel race, many entertainment activities are scheduled including Rock Concerts, Championship Boxing Match, Celebrity Poker Tournament, Easter Sunrise Service, and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Race to the Alter, TRACK-SIDE Chapel Location:  As the “Official Wedding Chapel” for Grand Prix, Vegas Wedding Chapel will have an exciting TRACK-SIDE LOCATION to provide Wedding and Vow Renewal ceremonies.  Visit our booth at the Expo Center located on the grounds of the World Market Center, Grand Central Parkway.

Business as usual, Vegas Wedding Chapel location (320 South 3rd Street):
Grand Prix Race Cars will be hurling down the track within a block of the chapel but weddings and renewals will be conducted as usual.  If you want to schedule your wedding at our chapel or any outdoor location during this time period, please call to reserve it now.  All of our regular packages and specials will be available to you.  PLEASE NOTE:  There may be traffic delays in the downtown area, due to the race, so please take this into consideration when selecting a ceremony time.
